So there are many hard milestones in becoming a published author - finishing the first draft and realising it all needs rewriting, anxiously sending it off for the first time, getting your first rejection, getting your second rejection, getting your ... oh, you get the idea.

There are also wondeful, gleaming milestones too. Getting your first publishing deal, seeing your book in an actual bookshop for the first time, getting your first one star Amazon review - actually, that's on the wrong list.

Anyway, another one just happened, by which I mean gleaming milestone not one star review, though I'm sure that probably just happened too, but I'm not looking and you can't make me.

What happened was I just got my very first New York Time Review - and it's a good one!!  See for yourselves.
